Lady A’s Charles Kelley & Wife Cassie Expecting Their Second Child

Lady A member Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie let fans in on a secret on Tuesday (March 25), revealing that they are expecting their second child this fall.

In an Instagram post shared by the couple, they captioned the photos, “Biggest surprise of our lives! Baby Kelley coming early fall 2025 ???????????????????? Big brother is the MOST excited ????????????”

The couple, who wed in 2009, are also parents to 9-year-old son Ward, whom they welcomed in 2016. Ward is posing with his parents in the new set of photos.

With the announcement, Kelley becomes the second member of country trio Lady A to reveal this year that they are expanding their family. A few weeks ago, Hillary Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, announced they will welcome their fourth daughter this summer. They are parents to Eisele Kaye and twins Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn. Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli Cashiola Haywood, welcomed their third child in July.

Lady A released its most recent album, What a Song Can Do, in 2021, with the group’s most recent single, “Love You Back,” arriving in 2023. Last week, the trio appeared as part of the Grand Ole Opry’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration televised event on NBC.

Kelley has also used his own solo music in recent years to open up about his journey to sobriety, releasing the song “As Far As You Could” in 2022. The song was co-written and produced by Kelley with Haywood and Jimmy Robbins.
