LISA Becomes Substitute Teacher for a Day, Makes a ‘Rockstar’ Video With Her Students
The BLACKPINK star surprised an elementary school class and turned them into "Lisa's Group."
How was school today? The kids at an elementary school in Brooklyn got to tell their parents that they had a substitute teacher — one that really put them to work. BLACKPINK‘s LISA showed up at PS 282 and spent the day teaching a group of students some “Rockstar” moves.
LISA’s day teaching is shown in a new video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday (Oct. 29) that’s part of the series Celebrity Substitute, in which a celeb guest takes over the classroom in each episode.
Although the “Moonlit Floor” singer says in the clip that she’s never before performed with children — and these kids look just a little apprehensive about picking up her choreography in one day — Ms. Lisa takes on the challenge with a smile.
“If you wanna be in group, you gotta look like a group,” the new sub explains, and the kids rummage through wardrobe options until their look is just right for their debut as “Lisa’s Group.”
The next step: learning the “Rockstar” dance. LISA flawlessly demonstrates a short section of choreo. The students stare blankly at her.
“That looks hard,” one child remarks.
LISA takes that as a lesson to break it down into simpler pieces for the kids, and by the end of the school day, these students end up starring alongside the pop star in a sweet, one-minute music video. As a bonus, their real teacher gets a wonderful surprise for her classroom.
