Madonna Confesses She’s Working on Confessions Part 2
And she’s back in the studio with Stuart Price.

Time really does go by so slowly. But nearly 20 years after releasing her clubby comeback Confessions on a Dance Floor, Madonna is working on a sequel. The Queen of Pop shared the news with a barrage of studio pics on Instagram, set to “Future Lovers.” “My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!! ????????????????????????????,” she wrote, adding, “Confessions Part 2.” Just nobody tell Usher!
Of course, a Madonna Instagram post is far from a confirmation — remember the back and forth with her biopic? But Madonna did previously reveal in December that she’d been in the studio with Confessions producer Stuart Price, though she didn’t share they were working on a direct sequel. Price got together with Madonna for the first time in a decade and a half to be the music director for her 2023–24 Celebration Tour. Confessions Part 2 would be Madonna’s first album since 2019’s Madame X. And yeah, we’re still ready to jump.
