Nike to Drop New Air Jordan 9 Retro ‘Cool Grey’ Sneakers

In 1993, Michael Jordan retired from the NBA for the first time. He traded in the basketball court for the baseball diamond. Nike rereleased the Air Jordan 9 shoes to pay tribute to Jordan’s baseball era.
Priced at $210, the Nike Air Jordan 9 Retro “Cool Grey” sneakers are designed for playing competitive sports, although he never won them during a pro basketball game because he abruptly retired before the start of the NBA season. The signature shoes are also made for everyday casual use with a classic silhouette.

The uppers of the sneakers are made from genuine leather for structure and durability, while they even have a strip of premium grey leather running around their toe caps to round out the standout style of the signature shoes.
Additionally, the sneakers feature the iconic “Jumpman” logo on the side of each midsole with MJ’s No. 23 placed on the back of the heel counters. They come in a medium grey, white and cool grey colorway.
