Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party & More Set to Perform at 2025 BRITs
The ceremony will take place at London's O2 Arena in March.
The BRIT Awards has announced the first slate of live performers for its 2025 ceremony. JADE, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party will all perform live during the event at London’s O2 Arena on March 1.
All of the performers are nominated in a number of categories. Myles Smith has already earned one award by winning the BRITs Rising Star Award which recognizes new and emerging talent, and is nominated in a further three (best new artist, song of the year and pop act).
Jade, formerly of girl group Little Mix, is nominated in the song of the year category for her song “Angel of My Dreams,” as well as the general pop act field. Little Mix performed at the event three times before they went on hiatus in 2022, appearing at 2016, 2017 and 2019’s ceremonies. They picked up three awards during their time as an active group.
Speaking on the news, she said: “I’ve honestly manifested every day since the release of ‘Angel of My Dreams’ to perform at the BRIT Awards. I cried when I found out. I can’t wait to bring a huge, chaotic pop moment to the BRITs stage!”
The Last Dinner Party were recipients of 2024’s Rising Star Award and will return to perform live on the BRITs stage for the first time. “We are SO excited to be performing at the 2025 BRIT Awards!!!! At our first BRITs last year we were in total awe at the scale and spectacle of the performances, so we can’t wait to bring our own show to such an iconic stage,” they said in an accompanying statement.
Shaboozey and Teddy Swims are first-time nominees at the event and will both compete in the international song of the year category with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and “Lose Control,” respectively. Swims will also perform at the Grammys in Los Angeles Sunday (Feb. 2).
The nominations for the BRITs were released Jan. 23. Charli XCX leads the pack with five nominations, with Dua Lipa, The Last Dinner Party and Ezra Collective close behind with four each.
Additional performers and honorary awards are set to be announced in the coming weeks. The show will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall and aired on ITV and streaming service ITV X.
