Shot Tower Capital Launches RedBrick Advisors to Drive ‘Clear’ Asset Valuations

Shot Tower Capital, a boutique investment brand specializing in the sale of music and entertainment assets, is enhancing its offerings through the launch of RedBrick Advisors, a specialized valuation firm catering to those industries.

As part of that new endeavor, Shot Tower is partnering with RedBrick co-founder Sachin Saggar, a research analyst with a 15-year history working with entertainment assets and intellectual properties, including music royalties. RedBrick advisors says on its website that it is “supporting stakeholders across the entertainment and media industry [through providing] bespoke, expert-driven, and independent valuations.” Moreover, the firm states that every valuation will be “rooted in the latest trends and supported by reliable, real-world information.”

Beyond what it describes as “clear, data-driven and transparent valuations” to help clients make informed decisions, other services the new firm will offer include financing support, estate planning & taxes, fairness opinions, transaction support, litigation assistance and contract negations related to joint ventures.

Saggar, who has a chartered accountant background, previously was with the financial modeling team of KPMG; and was most recently a lead research analyst at Stifel, covering asset-backed securitizations and music royalties that included following the publicly-traded securities of Hipgnosis Songs Fund and Round Hill Music Royalties Fund.

On the investment bank side of the business, Shot Tower’s deals in the last year have included serving as advisor in over $4 billion of music assets deals, including the formation of a joint venture between the Michael Jackson estate and Sony Music Group to manage the recorded music and publishing assets of the late artist, along with the sale of a majority stake in Maven Record to Universal Music Group.
