Teddi Mellencamp shared on Instagram Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with “multiple tumors” in her brain. According to the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Mellencamp went to the hospital Tuesday because she’d been experiencing “severe and debilitating headaches” for the past several weeks. Doctors found multiple tumors in her brain, two of which will be removed surgically today. The rest will be treated with radiation at a later date. Mellencamp’s doctors said the tumors had been developing for at least six months.

“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she wrote on IG. “Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.” Mellencamp is the daughter of John Mellencamp and his second wife, actress Victoria Granucci. She was on RHOBH for seasons 8-13. She was in the main cast in seasons 8-10, and transitioned to a “friend of” role for seasons 11-13. Her former co-star Kyle Richards was in Mellencamp’s hospital room as she awaited surgery, as seen on IG stories.
