Brooke Oleksy (formerly Brooke Hogan) sees her mother Linda Hogan’s lips movin’ in a new Instagram Story but she don’t hear nothing. Brooke claims her mother knows nothing about her life, as she has had no contact with both her parents, Linda and former WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan, for quite some time. So then, why is Linda making videos about their family, alleging that their family is in the “worst mess” if they hadn’t spoken in eight years? Brooke claims both her parents were “EXTREMELY verbally and mentally” abusive to her as a child. “What little I am addressing does not even scratch the surface of what I’ve dealt with my entire life,” Brooke shared. What did Linda Hogan say in her video?
On March 27, 2025, Linda spoke out against Brooke, as she has not spoken to either of her parents in eight years, and Linda blames her ex-husband Hulk, for the falling out. “It’s been 15, however long years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess,” she said on Instagram Stories, per People. “Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She had twins, she got married [and] she didn’t tell us.” Linda says she’s still in contact with her son, Nick, calling him “such a good boy.”
How did Brooke respond?
The next day, Brooke posted on her main Instagram feed, combatting her mother’s claims of innocence. “I will start by saying this video is mild compared to behavior I have witnessed for the greater portion of my life. This also comes in addition to false claims that she’s previously posted, then deleted,” Brooke stated before sharing some empathy for her mother. “That being said, she has been through A LOT of trauma and pain, my heart breaks for her. You can’t control how others treat you, but you can control how you treat others and cope with things.”
Brooke also shared that she has “completely separate reasons” for having no contact with either parent and that “No contact with [her] Mom has nothing to do with [her] Dad, and no contact with [her] Father has nothing to do with [her] Mother.” She continued, “I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood. Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes.” She also combats her mother’s claims that they’ve been estranged for years, sharing a photo of herself, her husband, and her mother all together.
