A Brief History of Pete Davidson and Kevin Costner Hanging Out

Some people have been wondering whether the SNL50 festivities got Pete Davidson to reconnect with his ex Kim Kardashian. And sure, those two did first meet on the set of Saturday Night Live. But why focus on a relationship that has come and gone when Davidson’s got a new one with an even bigger age gap for us to analyze? The 31-year-old comedian appears to have recently struck up a friendship with Kevin Costner, who is nearly 40 years older than him. Naturally, the internet has joked that a string of recent sightings means that Costner has become the latest in Davidson’s seemingly endless line of famous beaus. Or hey, maybe they’re spending time bonding over the fact that they both ended relationships in 2024 (Davidson split with ex-girlfriend Madelyn Cline, while Costner finalized a messy divorce with Christine Baumgartner).
Whatever the case may be, there’s no denying that Davidson and Costner have been seeing a lot of each other this February. February 8, 2025: Costner and Davidson both score an invite to Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fanatics Super Bowl party at the Sugar Mill in New Orleans. Davidson approaches Costner for a handshake. At the request of a paparazzi, he quickly names Field of Dreams as his favorite Costner movie. Even if he’s not a friend yet, he’s definitely already a fan.
The pair are also spotted chatting before walking the blue (?) carpet at the event.

February 15, 2025: According to “Page Six,” Costner and Davidson show up — together! — to Chris Rock’s 60th birthday party in New York City at the Crane Club steakhouse. A few more meat-ups like this, and this once-rare duo might start to feel more medium rare to us.
