Taylor Swift’s Error-Laden Eras Tour Book Is Still a Hit
The typo-filled tome has sold more than 800,000 copies.
Fans love how Taylor Swift puts her mistakes on display. And they proved it again last weekend, when over 800,000 Swifties bought an Eras Tour coffee-table book that’s full of typos and errors. Swift’s Eras Tour Book was the biggest debut of 2024, the Associated Press reported, selling 814,000 copies during Black Friday weekend. Swift produced the book, documenting her marathon two-year tour, totally independently, rather than through a publishing house, and sold it exclusively through Target. But fans who bought it discovered that the Tortured Poets Department doesn’t have editors, with dozens of typos and low-quality photos reportedly in the tome. (Take an Errors Tour for yourself.) Swift hasn’t addressed the errors yet, likely focusing on her final Eras Tour dates this weekend. But we’d guess she’s not planning to issue 814,000-plus refunds, so just put that book on the shelf next to your tattered Eras Tour T-shirt.
