Well, Vulture Festival has added two events just for you! Padma Lakshmi will join us with a special guest for a live demonstration of eating food, and Kevin Smith will sit down to discuss his much-lauded film Dogma to celebrate its 25th anniversary. And don’t forget, this festival goes all weekend, with a lineup that also includes Henry Winkler, Quinta Brunson and her Abbott Elementary writers’ room, Julio Torres, Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader, a You’re the Worst reunion, and a special sneak peek of Paramount+’s new original series Landman. It all happens in Los Angeles on November 16 and 17, so get tickets while you still can!
An Eating Demonstration With Padma Lakshmi and a Special Guest
For nearly 20 years, on both Top Chef and Taste the Nation, Padma shined as one of the best eaters in television history. So Padma is going to turn Vulture Festival into her own Vulture FEAST-ival. What does that mean? She will eat some of her favorite L.A. foods while talking about her history of eating and cooking, both onscreen and off, and how food has shaped how she’s seen the world. It will definitely be the tastiest event!
Kevin Smith’s Dogma Confessional
Director Kevin Smith joins us for a look back at the classic religious satire Dogma 25 years after it first blasphemed. You’re invited to sit in on this blessed event that sure will make you thank God, and by that we mean Alanis Morissette. What better way to spend a Sunday? Going to church or something?
