Big Machine Label Group Appoints Jodi Dawes as VP of Publicity & Communications

Nashville-based label Big Machine Label Group, a subsidiary of HYBE America, has appointed Jodi Dawes to the role of vice president of publicity and communications, to oversee the label group’s public relations department and lead strategy across BMLG’s imprints Big Machine Records, The Valory Music Co. and Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

Dawes reports directly to BMLG chairman/CEO Scott Borchetta, while BMLG’s artist roster includes Riley Green, Carly Pearce, Brett Young, Midland, Rascal Flatts and more.

Dawes previously spent over three years with Universal Music Group Nashville, spearheading publicity campaigns for artists including Brothers Osborne, Parker McCollum, Anne Wilson and Jordan Davis. Prior to her work at UMG Nashville, Dawes worked at several boutique PR firms, including Sweet Talk Publicity, where she handled day-to-day publicity for artists including Ernest, Chris Lane, Breland and RaeLynn.
