Meryl Streep Breaks and Says ‘Little Pervs’ in Her First SNL Appearance
Further proof that nobody — not even our greatest living actress — can survive Kate McKinnon’s paranormal sketch.

Not even Martin Short’s lady friend and her fortress of Oscar statuettes are immune to the chaos Kate McKinnon’s paranormal sketches can unleash on your psyche. Meryl Streep has, somehow, only just made her first appearance on Saturday Night Live for the 50th-anniversary special, joining an esteemed lineage of thespians who have proudly broken during Kate McKinnon’s recurring sketch. Streep, chain-smoking and grabbing her “carpets and tar pits,” had an equally bad alien-abduction experience as her daughter: While Colleen’s two friends (Pedro Pascal and Woody Harrelson) were trippin’ on some groovy love in the skies above, Steep’s momma had to “kick those little pervs away” because her nether-regions “got an Into the Woods sort of situation” going on. “Us Rafferty girls, we always attracted the freaks,” she explains, flicking her ash away. “For years I thought Colleen’s father was part alien, but it turns out he was just uncircumcised.” Pascal and Harrelson’s fellas, though, are pretty turned on by a potential romp through her Black Forest. As she teases: “Underwear-wise, this devil wears nada.”
