Teddy Swims, Tinashe, Thomas Rhett & Cody Johnson to Perform on ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’
Ryan Seacrest announced the news in a promo premiering exclusively on Billboard.
2024 is coming to a close, which means it’s time for the biggest party of the year. New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest is back, with a star-studded lineup of performers.
Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, Tinashe and Teddy Swims are set to take the stage, joining previously announced performer Lenny Kravitz, who will be performing at the first-ever live countdown from Las Vegas. Additionally, Rita Ora will be returning to join Seacrest as a co-host for the iconic Times Square ball drop broadcast in New York City.
In a new promo video shared exclusively with Billboard on Tuesday (Dec. 3), Seacrest looks forward to ringing in 2025 by celebrating the upcoming performers. The show, which airs on ABC and commands the largest TV viewership of any non-sports rated show, will air from the East and West coasts on Dec. 31.
In addition to musical acts, expect famous magicians, circus artists and more at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest. Last year, the show reached 36 million viewers, up 22% from the previous year, with 28.9 million people tuning in at midnight moment alone, according to Nielsen. The NYE party included performances from NewJeans, Megan Thee Stallion, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, LL Cool J, Cardi B, Green Day and more.
